Spicy Summer Caesar

A Canadian classic from Charmaine Broughton with added spice!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups (1.5L) Clamato juice [or 4 cups (1 L) tomato juice + 1 jar (236 ml) clam juice] 
  • ¾ cup (175ml) vodka
  • ¼ cup (60ml) fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) hot sauce *or to taste
  • 6 glasses and ice cubes

GARNISH

  • lemon juice
  • celery salt
  • celery stalks
  • pickled white and green asparagus 

Method

In a large pitcher stir together all ingredients. Dip the rim of each glass in lemon juice and then in celery salt. Divide prepared Caesar evenly between glasses (add ice if desired). 

Garnish each glass with celery and pickled asparagus.
