Add 2 tablespoons (30ml) of oil and popcorn kernels to a large pot (with a tight fitting lid).
Heat over a high heat shaking the pot until the kernels start to pop. Reduce heat to medium and continue shaking until all kernels have popped. Remove pot from the stove top.
Add semi-sweet chocolate chips, butter and cocoa to a microwavable bowl and heat for 20-25 seconds till melted. Pour over the popcorn and mix with a wooden spoon. Spread chocolate popcorn onto a piece of greased parchment paper and break apart as it cools.
In a large bowl or cookie jar add the caramel corn, candied nuts and chocolate popcorn. Stir to mix and serve.
