Grease 12 muffin cups and set aside.
Add marshmallows to a large pot. Over medium-low heat stir until melted. Add butter and vanilla and stir until incorporated. Next, add a cup of Rice Krispies cereal one at a time and mix until combined.
Add ¼ cup (5g) of Rice Krispies mixture to each muffin cup. Using the back of a spoon dipped in hot water, press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the muffin cup to make a tart/nest shape. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours till set.
To decorate the nests, remove them carefully from the muffin tin with a warm knife dipped in hot water. Decorate with mini eggs or jelly beans.
