1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
2/3 cup (160 ml) sour cream
juice of 3 fresh limes
2 teaspoons (10 ml) finely grated lime peel, zested
2 jalapeño peppers, seeded, finely chopped
1/3 cup (80 ml) chopped fresh cilantro
4 cups (950 ml) thinly sliced green cabbage
4 cups (950 ml) thinly sliced purple cabbage
1/4 cup (60 ml) green onions, finely diced


Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, juice of 2 limes, zested lime peel and jalapeño peppers in large bowl.

Add cabbage, green onions and cilantro and toss to cover evenly. Season with salt and pepper.

Cover bowl with wrap and chill for 1 hour.

Just before serving add juice of 1 lime and toss.
