Ingredients

2 cups (475 ml) ketchup
1 cup (240 ml) water
½ cup (120 ml) apple cider vinegar
5 tablespoons (57.5 g) light brown sugar
5 tablespoons (62.5 g) sugar
½ tablespoon (7.5 g) fresh ground black pepper
½ tablespoon (7.5 g) onion powder
½ tablespoon (7.5 g) ground mustard
1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce

Method

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to simmer.

Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for 1 hour 15 minutes.
