3 scoops vanilla ice cream, divided
1 cup (240 ml) almond milk
2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup
2 tablespoons (30 ml) almond butter
¼ cup (60 ml) almonds, sliced/slivered
Put 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into a blender or food processor. Reserve the third scoop for later.
Add the almond milk, maple syrup and almond butter, preferably smooth it is easier to blend.
Blend until everything is evenly mixed together.
Pour milkshake into a tall glass, add the final scoop of ice cream and garnish with sliced/slivered almonds.
Add a drizzle of maple syrup or dust with cocoa powder for a final touch and boost of flavor.
